Solution Developer (m/w/d)



As a Solution Developer you will be responsible for leading the development of project opportunities into project contracts. Your responsibilities vary depending on the stage of the presales. You will partner up with Business Developers for every region to develop the local strategy and translate leads into opportunities. Doing so you will be supported by other System Engineers in being successful when converting Sketch designs into final proposals.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Development of overall intralogistics concepts, starting with process planning, technology selection and dimensioning, through to layouting, rough budgeting and project scheduling
  • Continuous training in technologies and applications from our industry partners, to develop the best-in-class solutions for TICO clients
  • Understanding the competitive regional landscape and being able to react to the different business and technical challenges
  • Analyzing data from customer to derive an adequate sketch design with the system engineer office from HQs
  • You will have to prepare and present professional proposals to end customers to negotiate and land project contracts

What we expect from you

  • Engineering degree. A postgraduate in business is a plus. Proven industry experience in automated picking and storage solutions
  • Proven experience in selling to different industry verticals, 3PLs, Industrial, retail and e-commerce
  • Customer centric thinking, where the “best” technology is selected agnostically to address customer needs 
  • Open personality with disposition to travel, resilient as well as resourceful and decisive
  • Fluent in English and language of local market where the position is based
